Exercise is a big part of my life. It’s not an aesthetic thing. I realised from a young age the mood boosting effects of exercise.
Exercise is not about punishing yourself, or hurting yourself and pushing to extremes, it’s about loving your self and investing in your health.
Regular exercise provides us with so many health benefits, one of the things you’re most likely to notice is the emotional lift after a little gym session. Physical activity stimulates brain chemicals that leave you feeling happier and more relaxed. It can also increase self esteem and reduce stress and anxiety.
It’s all well and good to read the articles on the benefits of exercise, but until you get out there and get active you will never understand the ‘buzz’! I feel my mood instantly lift after even 30mins working out!
